After surprise guest Clint Eastwood's
12-minute speech at the Republican National Convention, President Barack Obama
remains a fan of the star.
At the RNC this past week, the "Dirty
Harry" star heavily criticized the president to an empty chair, signifying an
"invisible" and absentee president.
On Saturday (September 2), President
Obama told USA Today that he thinks the 82-year-old icon is “is a great actor,
and an even better director. I think the last few movies that he’s made have
been terrific."
The intended target shrugged off the
jabs, saying, "I am a huge Clint Eastwood fan. One thing about being president
or running for president - if you're easily offended, you should probably choose
another profession."
