Back in the States, a San Francisco mom is suing the 18-year-old idol for $9 million, claiming she suffered hearing damage from the noise at a Bieber concert.

According to her civil complaint, Stacey Wilson Betts attended the concert with her daughter in July 2010 and claims she was injured by an unforeseen aspect of the show causing sound that "exceeded safe decibel levels."

Betts further explained, "[Bieber] climbed into a heart shaped, aluminum/steel gondola and was pulled out over the crowd," creating a "wave like effect of screaming" and "enticed the crowd into a frenzy of screams by continuously waving his arms in a quick and upward motion."

Unfazed by the lawsuit, the teen pop star recently tweeted "Amazing day in Melbourne."
